The worst P5 football program pried away JMUs head coach and they filled it with an FCS hire. A great hire but a lower level hire than Tech, UVA and Liberty brought in

@RTD_MikeBarber I think w DeBoer being a west coast guy I agree. Paired with being the guy after Saban makes it difficult. I like Norvell for it. Southeast recruiting experience, on field success, a program upgrade, and you get to skip past all the off field conference realignment drama

@dukedawg22 @Hokie20 @therealdcunna Again, UVA holds higher in every aspect I mentioned. While that statement about P5 can be true in select cases, this is not one. UVA is a legitimate candidate for conference expansion and the P5 carries resources not typically seen by many outside of it

JMU will start investing in the program but nothing i said was false. Libertys program is a short term goal for JMU

JMU with some further program investment I think the time will come but the real reason for all these non-conference changes is the ACC scheduling. They recommended it

Money, in-state recruiting, facilities, fan base and much more is significantly dominated by VT. VT, UVA, Liberty then JMU/ODU looking at full picture. Not talking shit but thats why its VT

@DukesRecruits @Bblackb2 It was an FCS matchup for years which doesn’t count towards bowl eligibility. You don’t put those teams on your schedule unless you absolutely need a filler game. Im not even trying to talk shit here but JMU is the #4 program in the state and i don’t know it its debatable
