That definition is spot on for socialism, and while the church isn’t a declared government in the sense of politics, it effectively acts the same way. Consecration = Socialism

I argue from my own experience, that truth helps us climb out of the box we’re put in by the church. It’s not so easy to escape!

@FabioBYU @NephiteHorse 47 and the bishop of a ward , here! OMG! I was shook by almost all of it. Completely oblivious and what’s worse, I’m an historian and history teacher. It’s always rubbed me wrong how my historical background of analysis and critical thinking never could be used in my faith. Ugh!

There are Heterosexual people who abuse others, be it a spouse or children or people in general. How does their sexual orientation matter? Truth is, it doesn’t. It doesn’t affect anyone else at all.

It means he wasn’t a prophet at all, but a man acting like one to a group of followers who believed he was. He was not connected to God. We must not forget that just because we are not proximate to his time.
