@ReviewFischer He didn’t shadow direct it, what are you on about. Really didn’t feel like a Gunn movie at all. Self proclaimed movie guy can’t tell the difference between two, tells me a lot about your film analysis
@ReviewFischer - time was legendary! BvS has the one of the best trailers of all time, suicide squad had a cultural impact before it was ever was released!
@ReviewFischer I’d say the tone shift started with Aquaman. The films that followed weren’t bad because of the comedy, they were bad because they lacked quality and direction. I still think the success of 2012–2019 was largely driven by audiences wanting comic book films! WB marketing at the -
@ReviewFischer Aaron, you’re missing the part where I said it was the only live-action superhero movie that December! 2018-2019 were CBM biggest years ever! Aquaman didn’t have any competition, at a time when people wanted to watch CBM. That is not BS, that’s a common sense answer!
@ReviewFischer Aaron I don’t know if you have a clue! I feel I’m very level headed here. Aquaman was an anomaly. Perfect timing, the only live-action superhero movie that December, and a huge shift in tone. It wasn’t a billion dollar hit because people loved Justice League trust me.
@ReviewFischer 200 mi less because of the poor but warranted reception of BvS and it was a shit film. The hype was dead when the marketing campaign started. The only people who watched it were the ones that liked/loved BvS and Snyder vision, period !
@ReviewFischer Let’s not forget that justice league made 661 mil a year after. Thats 200 mil less than the bvs. The Snyder cut movement started getting traction 3 months after the film was released. These are the tangible numbers my friend! This is the reality
@ReviewFischer That’s today mate, I’m talking back then! I would consider 1 billion to be “massive blockbuster” and none of them achieved that. We don’t know how BvS would have done if it were released today. I think that’s wishful thinking on your behalf.
