Hawai‘i has a new labeling law protecting Hawai‘i-grown māmaki by strengthens labeling requirements. If a product is sold as māmaki, all the māmaki in the product must be grown in Hawai‘i.

A live skunk was captured by Honolulu police last night at the Kaka‘ako Waterfront Park. HDOA agriculture inspectors were called out at about 10:30 p.m. and arrived to find police had contained the skunk in a plastic trash bin.
