.@HewittAthletics has swept the Class 7A softball and baseball state championships.

We did just a little historical research into programs that won both softball and baseball titles in the same year. Here they are, dating back to 2000: 

2019: Mars Hill (1A), GW Long (2A)
2018: GW Long (2A)
2008: Athens Bible (1A)
2005: Baker (6A)
2000: Hartselle (5A) 

Hewitt-Trussville is the only Class 7A program to accomplish the feat.

State championships by sport now:

Softball: 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2026
Baseball: 2016, 2026
