Question for you then @duolingo: why don't you have a specific practice hub tool which focuses on practicing genders and plurals? https://t.co/BG2PMt7SY4
@fesshole This is a common tip for travelling in dangerous cities, but unfortunately the local thugs are usually wise to it and will stab you an extra time for wasting their time before finding the second phone or wallet.
@awills29@gp94392028@Steveonstradey@simonog @DCCT2579 @fesshole But that's besides the point. We're discussing the plausibility of OP sneaking off to work from abroad without the employer noticing. I don't think OP is the rules-following type like you seem to assume everyone is. Could easily tell Spain he's in France half the year.
It is grimly hilarious to see this guy ripping up decades of American soft power projects while going “Wow!” and “Gawrsh!” at stuff he doesn’t understand. God only knows what the Russians or Iranians are making of the CIA getting absolutely hosed in public by an imbecile.
@simonog@awills29@Steveonstradey @DCCT2579 @fesshole We're literally talking here about the possibility of hiding it from your employer, who said anything about following the rules?
@awills29@Steveonstradey@simonog @DCCT2579 @fesshole Everything else you mention eg. about right to work isn't the employer's concern, especially if they don't know you've gone in the first place.
@awills29@Steveonstradey@simonog @DCCT2579 @fesshole Actually in my case everything was above board. I didn't keep any secrets, and it was actually my employer who cared the least (they just kept my old UK address in their system) so the premise that you can't hide it from your employer is entirely false.
@awills29@Steveonstradey@simonog @DCCT2579 @fesshole Wrong, I've lived in Europe while working as both employee and contractor for British companies. For neither case did it make a difference who I told about living anywhere.
