My favourite thing about life is the numerous intermittent breaks i take throughout the day for some quick horizontal time on my bed like it’s some sort of human wireless charging pad
with adhd/autism it's funny like. people will call you weird all your life, people will bully you for your "outlandish" behaviour, people will criticize literally everything you do as "not normal", BUT THE SECOND YOU GET DIAGNOSED (or suggest you might have it) they're like "huh what but you're so normal, you're literally the most normal person I've ever seen, you're literally so normal and absolutely nothing is wrong with you? why would you have that now all of a sudden???
you don’t realize how much your environment affects your mental state until you finally spend time somewhere that feels calm and your body stops feeling tense for once
It saddens me that so many people have gone through an avoidant discard. It’s not a normal breakup, it’s fundamentally one of the most traumatizing things you can experience.
So we have 7 highland cows backing on to the garden, a whole rabbit family living IN the garden, baby lambs in the next field down the road and regularly see deer running through the fields… What in the disney princess dreams coming true is this????
i think autistic people are often mistaken for being argumentative and needing to be right, when in reality, it's more about needing the information to be CORRECT... because we get overwhelming anxiety when we're convinced that it isn't.
