@Lauren_Askins So sad reading this; it’s a pain I have never experienced but really felt the need to let you know that others are thinking of you. Sending you heartfelt love at this time.
Dear Boris Johnson
You said that GCSE exams for this year were cancelled. They're not cancelled. They're called 'assessments'. And instead of examiners marking them, teachers are. For no money. But the schools have paid the exam boards. Where's the money?
Yours

I’ve been raising money to make #thankyouNHS packs for Addenbrookes - my target was 50 but today I delivered 100 packs to the amazing ICU and critical care staff. Thanks to my friends, family and neighbours who donated! ❤️
My mum asked me today why I didn’t send my kids in as a key worker so I could get on with work when not in school today. Bless her. Was worried about me. But this is bigger. If you are a key worker and at home you should not be sending your children into school.
Ofsted has been deluged with 5,000 emails praising schools since @GavinWilliamson told parents to contact the watchdog with complaints

Am definitely going to be contacting Ofsted tomorrow to let them know about my daughters' schools. They need to be aware of how hard every single member of staff is working, in almost impossible conditions.

@GavinWilliamson You've basically thanked us by encouraging parents to go to Ofsted. All school staff are already working at capacity and many are working beyond it. Yeah, cheers.
As part of our virtual Christmas Fair, children voted for which teacher they wanted to dress up in a Christmas costume. Trying to work out if this makes me the winner or the loser?
If you text ‘SHOUT’ to 85258 when you are in a dark place or suicidal, a trained crisis volunteer will text you back. This is great If you find talking on the phone challenging. It’s completely free. Please RT you never know who might need this support
Any ideas for performance management targets for teachers when it feels like surviving, staying safe, staying positive and caring for the children in your class feels like the right things to focus on?
So pleased that my daughter got the grades that she needed for Law at Nottingham Uni but can’t help feeling so angry for those who have been disadvantaged by this mess and for secondary colleagues who must feel so deflated. #AlevelResults
