Anyone else woken up this morning to listen anxiously to the news and feeling relieved, prouder of who we are, and just a bit more disdainful of the Tommy Robinsons and Elon Musks of this world? Well done decency, well done the police
Farage and Tommy Robson only started condemning the violence after they realised they were in deep shit. Robinson incited the riots from his 5 Star Hotel in Cyprus and now the full force of the law will be used to bring him and Farage to justice. They are domestic terrorists.

The 180 kids have access to the dining room for half an hour so long as it is left ready for the big school. The headteacher - Ms Beach - gets the mop out.
But this isn’t Romania after Ceascescu. This is the UK. The school is more or less within sight of the shipyards where we’re building submarines. Because we're an importnat world power.
It’s impossible not to be blown away by the commitment, love and resourcefulness of Ms Beach (she went to this school as a child). But that shouldn’t blind you to the fact that this is not “good”. This is NOT good.
They obviously can’t share a playground with the teenagers so at break they are taken into the tennis courts and the gate is closed. The kids call the chain-link enclosure “the cage”.
When Sacred Heart’s building was condemned, they “sourced additional premises” ( some classrooms in a secondary school). Some are on the 3rd floor. The infants can’t share toilets with teenagers. If a f4 year old wants a wee ....
