@laughinglich07 >Nobody says anything about Baker, North & Blum
Yeah, we do. Have so for over 10 years. Add Laura Bailey and Phil "Every black man in games ever" Lamarr to the list.
Which rock have you been living under?
@SYC178@MauLer93 Remember when people praised the "stealth mechanics" in The Last of Us"?
Same issue, people with a narrow frame of reference and low standards getting impressed by anything that doesn't set their house on fire.
@dj_shreddz@shine3vn And the other one has playthroughs, a working set of eyes, taste and apparently a wider frame of reference.
'cause if this is "best in class" for you, I just feel pity.

The 1v1 fights in 007 First Light were some of the most unique moments in the game.
Hand to hand combat hasn't felt this satisfying in a very long time.
It's been about 15 years ago, I think, when I first said - jokingly - that some game devs are just failed movie directors who want to live out their Hollywood-fantasies in an industry with a lower bar of entry.
With every passing year that statement becomes less funny.
@Luddite11 I don't even know where all of you clowns are coming from all of a sudden, let alone why you all thought that yelling "You got baited!" at me was a prudent course of action.
I'm afraid figuring that out is all up to you.
@WooshBoi69@CapCorgiTTV Well, with the exception of me outright saying that I made that statement "jokingly", sure.
Y'know, in the original tweet.
I'll outline it for you if you need it, no problem.
@GarrickkTheGre@yoruichiarchive >"I made this joke 15 years ago, ending up predicting a general development in the industry."
>"Form your own opinion for once."
Brilliant.
Also yes, I didn't think the James Bond game was gonna be a truck-driving simulator, thanks for being the 10th person to remark on that.
@Hardcore__inc Yeah, matter of fact, him and Kojima were the main reason why I made that joke in the first place.
I just thought/hoped that they'd be the odd ones out.
Aw crap, now the Metal Gear fans are going to yell at me, too...
