On November 22, 1963, U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, an event that shocked America and changed the course of its political history.

But one question still sparks debate more than six decades later: Would the world be a different place if JFK had never been assassinated?

Kennedy was president during the Cuban Missile Crisis and a critical period of the Cold War. His continued presidency could have influenced America’s involvement in Vietnam, the civil rights movement, the space race and relations with the Soviet Union.

Perhaps some decisions would have taken a different path. Perhaps history would have unfolded in ways nobody could have predicted. We cannot know for certain, but his assassination remains one of those moments that invites us to wonder how different the world might look today.

One moment in history changed everything. What do you think would be different if JFK had lived?
