Ms. Tiemblo at Douglas Elementary School takes a few minutes each day to call 3-5 students up to share with the class a picture of his/her family. The students tell the class who is in the picture, and then they count how many people are in their family. #AllSmiles

Tyler ISD Head Start, PreK, and the Education Practicum Department at the CTC are doing something special. These seniors will observe in a PreK, Head Start, and Bilingual classroom and will graduate from high school as certified Teacher Assistants and certified in CPR/First Aid.

After working 30 years in Tyler ISD in the Head Start Department, Mrs. Sandra Hendrix is retiring. Today is her last day, and we will miss her dearly. Although she will be retired, you will still see her volunteering at Head Start events…as Head Start is very dear to her 💙

Our Head Start Family Math Carnival last Friday at Peete Elementary was a hit! The D.O.C.s (Dad’s On Campus) were on the grill making delicious cheese burgers and hot dogs. Our Community Partners and Head Start teachers were there with math games for the kiddos.
