first comission of my forsaken priestess and beloved main Lorialen. i am obsessed with this piece! please go check out Ryumo. all of her art is incredible.
'Moonlit River.' (c1917) More than any other artist, it was Whistler with his atmospheric paintings of the Thames, that had a profound influence on George Hyde Pownall - he specialized in moonlight scenes of this sort, usually with a full moon fairly central in the composition.
WoD is THE potential expansion of WoW. If it werent for cut content and a general lack thereof (Camera x Twitter connection major patch btw lmao) it could have been one of the greats
The raids were awesome!
The story was awesome!
The cinematics were awesome!
There just... Wasn't enough of it. So much got cut that there were months and months of just nothing.
If they could show us everything as they envisioned it, it could've been the best WoW expac.
Holy shit, nuke the blood elf rulers from orbit and just leave us with Astalor
More Aura than the entire Midnight Blood Elf race.
Holy shit. More of THIS and less Eversong "boop the snoot" garbage
New Hunter idea: Undead whose body became a horrible infected nest of blight and maggots when he died, so he just decided to turn all the gross bugs inside of him into his personal army.
this expac has truly felt like they put the RPG back into their game. the side quests are meaningful, the main story npcs change their tone towards you throughout the journey, silvermoon is alive with npcs and guards who hate you (or love you), and it just makes my heart happy 🥹
1) this confirms for me that in early development, Zul'jan was going to be villain batted.
2) this lines up with the voice acted stay awhile and listen on the bridge
3) this does NOT line up with the last stay awhile in the hut
4) this does NOT line up with the short story
The Forsaken/Belf Relationship is always so interesting to me. Because the Forsaken were the first people to actually try and help the belves in TBC. And if it wasn't for Sylvanas pushing them, they would not have joined the horde and likely would have died out.
Liadrin would've known Aelthalyste; priest just like Liadrin at the time of Arthas. Presumably roughly the same age, perhaps maybe Liadrin was her student.
Likewise Natalie Seline. a COL Bishop, would at least be known to Liadrin as a priest, and her heresies.
Story opportunity
I'm fairly confident we are going to go the entire Midnight expansion without Aelthalyste and Natalie Seline but I just want to explicitly say that would suck
I’ve made my peace with the Plaguelands being fully healed into Eastweald, or Stratholme becoming an Argent-owned city. They’re already neutral areas in Lordaeron.
Just please leave Tirisfal as a Forsaken zone. Keep it spooky and blighted and entirely unfriendly to the living.
