ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE BY KUSH 🙌
Comedy is not a licence to commercialise content that strips women, the deceased, and body donors of their dignity.
United Doctors Front (UDF) has today taken TWO actions over the viral content from Pranit More's show:
⚖️ A formal Legal Notice to the comedian & organisers — demanding immediate takedown of the objectionable clips and an unconditional public apology.
📜 A Public Interest Petition before the @India_NHRC, seeking SUO MOTU COGNIZANCE of the repeated dissemination of obscene content that:
• violates the dignity of women
• sexualises & trivialises human cadavers
• betrays the trust of body & organ donors
• erodes public confidence in life-saving donation programmes
Every cadaver in medical education is a selfless act of body donation. It deserves respect — not monetised mockery.
With millions of viewers comes responsibility.

The All India Medical Students' Association (AIMSA) strongly condemns the insensitive, irresponsible, and deeply disrespectful portrayal of cadavers and body donors for the purpose of entertainment or comedy by Pranit More (Comedian) and others.
AIMSA tweets, "Body donors are the foundation of medical education and deserve the highest dignity and respect. Mocking human remains is unacceptable and violates the ethics of the medical profession. We urge Ministry of Information & Broadcasting to immediately intervene and prevent such insensitive content from being promoted or broadcast. We also request Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, and NMC to take serious cognizance of this matter. Strict action and public accountability must follow. Respect the Donor. Respect Medical Ethics. Respect Humanity."
From an opponent to a friend over the years. It’s been a pleasure watching you bat and compete against you over so many years but more than that I value our friendship and shared perspectives on the game and beyond. I continue to cherish every time we speak or meet. Wishing you nothing but the best always brother. You’ve done your bit, you deserve to enjoy all of it now and put your feet up. Well done mate, life’s only just begun. ❤️ #KaneWilliamson

This girl is apparently a doctor, yet she is publicly mocking a cadaver.
A cadaver is not a prop, or an object for cheap humour. It is a human being who chose to donate their body for medical education and scientific advancement after death.
When students enter medical college and step into the dissection hall, they take a cadaveric oath, a solemn pledge that serves as a tribute to body donors. The cadaver is regarded as the student's "first teacher" to foster empathy, ethics, gratitude, and respect for human dignity.
During my first year of MBBS, our cadaver was a retired Brigadier. We treated him with dignity because we understood that we were learning from a person who had made a conscious, and rare in Indian society, decision for the benefit of future patients and future doctors.
Mocking a cadaver and making lewd remarks about the body's private parts is not edgy, funny, or bold. It reflects a complete failure to understand one of the most basic ethical principles taught in medicine: respect for human dignity, even after death.
It may or may not attract liability under the BNS, but it is unquestionably conduct that falls far below the ethical standards expected of a medical professional.
The @NMC_IND should take cognizance of this matter and ensure that such behaviour has consequences.
There was also a boy on the same show who made derogatory remarks about a girl who was apparently his date, and he is rightly facing the consequences of his actions. This girl should be held to the same standard.
Saddened by the mishap at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Praying that the injured recover at the earliest. The local authorities are providing all possible assistance to those affected.
An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi
Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
