Hi, I'm Bec! A queer, neurodivergent, Latina healer, and a licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT) in New York with a decade of clinical experience. I practice as a therapist and as a coach. This page is dedicated to my coaching and community practice, The Healing Portal.
the venus retrograde in scorpio ruling the sun in libra does give the impression that what’s done in the dark, always comes to light. relationships will inevitably expose themselves, things we thought were confidential between another person, can come up and out. be careful who you share what with during this time!
@_iamhershayyy Not just a man but anyone that’s at war with themselves. No amount of love you pour into them or the relationship will change the relationship they have with themself 💔
You can only love people, as deeply as they have met, accept, and love themself.
This is because people only accept the support/love/etc., they believe they deserve or have been conditioned to believe they are worth.
How someone feels about themself is out of your control.
I've realized you can never truly love a man who's at war with himself. no matter how much love you've poured, no matter how gently you try to reach him, you cannot love someone into becoming whole. you can reassure him, understand him, be patient with him and remind him of all the reasons he is worthy of love but if he is constantly fighting battles within himself, your love will always feel like something he has to question. and you, without a doubt, will be the first thing he lets go easily when things become hard form him
Also, when we are emotionally deregulated and I’m telling you, I didn’t realize I was until somebody told me yesterday that I’m in fight or flight mode -a lot of times we are acting out emotionally because we want that other person to resolve what’s happening within us, we often unconsciously want them to soothe us, but that is not their job it’s ours
No apology needed but it makes sense why you feel this way.
I am so deeply sorry that all of that happened to you. It sounds horrifying, traumatic, and you should not have been treated that way 💔
I think that even when we might be "misbehaving" or not being our best, we still deserve some compassion and care.
We are all doing the best we can with what we have capacity for and boundaries can be created without cruelty.
Please feel free to DM me if you want to vent or rant 🫂
On September 17, Chiron, the "wounded healer" retrograded back into Aries, where it will stay until the beginning of January 2027.
This is an invitation into some deep inner work, especially around old insecurities, our sense of self worth, unresolved anger, and the fear of being truly vulnerable.
Aries is the one who goes first, the trailblazer, so this transit asks us to reclaim that drive AND to look honestly at the wounds that come up around that.
For a lot of us that wound sounds like questions we have carried for years: am I allowed to take up space, to want, to lead, to matter, to go for it, even when I am imperfect?
Some of what may come up: imposter syndrome, old shame and resentment, insecurities, anger that was never allowed to move through you or was not safe to connect to, and learning to trust your own instincts again.
This is about reclaiming your voice and your right to take up space, to have value even in your imperfection, and to stop shrinking yourself so other people stay comfortable. Notice where you have been burning out by putting yourself last, then make small changes towards putting yourself first.
The real work of Chiron in Aries is taking the pain of that old wound and slowly transforming it into your personal power, not by pretending it never happened, but by meeting it with tenderness and compassion this time. Allow yourself to connect to your anger and rage, let it move through you, and motivate you in creating the life that you want.
We have until early 2027, so there is no rush. Start slow if you need to and take it one step at a time ❤️🩹
Also, I will say that all relationships take some work and will require inconvenience. That is a part of life and part of relational work.
The right friends and support systems will be able to hold all of you (or at least most of you) and what you need without making you feel like a burden.
Personally, whenever a friend or loved one comes to me with their challenges or "burdens", I feel honored and privileged to be inconvenienced because it means we have a meaningful and real connection if they trust me to hold tender parts of themself. I think that is sacred.
@lumpwazhere I am sorry you have been made to feel like a burden and this gets in the way of connection and support at times. This all makes so much sense based on your experiences and you're right that sometimes we just need someone to hear us out.
Remember, every decision that you make from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep, consciously or unconsciously, is moving you closer to the life you want or further away. So be aware and pay close attention to your decisive actions.
neuroscience fact: your brain can't install new habits while you're shaming yourself through the old ones. cortisol blocks learning. compassion opens it. you can't bully a brain into growth.
what a privilege to be in the fight. you get to wake up and throw everything you have at a target way out of your reach. you get to fail, absorb the damage, and come back with a better understanding of what it takes. you get to chase things that might be completely beyond you, just to see what happens when you refuse to quit. and then you get to, God willing, wake up tomorrow and do it all again. what a gift.
Right now, your greatest responsibility is getting your life back on track and becoming the strongest, healthiest version of yourself. Don't waste your energy worrying about who stays, who leaves, who understands you, or who changes. This chapter is about choosing yourself. Heal your mind, rebuild your discipline, protect your peace, and reconnect with who you truly are. The people who are meant to be part of your next chapter will find you when you get there.
Happy Aries Full Moon! 🔥🌕
Since the moon peaked during the day, tonight is really all about tapping into the Aries energy.
An Aries full moon during Libra season, its opposite, brings up the tension between your needs and the relationship, or independence and belonging.
Reflect on: What parts of yourself do you quiet down to keep the peace with the people around you? How might you make more space for yourself?
Allow yourself to be the trailblazer that Aries is, and let go of the blocks that keep your wildest dreams from blooming ✨
