One of the saddest 9/11 stories I've read about.

A man on the West Side of the North Tower tried to climb down the side of the building using a technique known as a ''chimney climb.''

He managed to scale down 9 floors over the course of 30-40 minutes. He went down from the 94th floor to the 85th floor but was knocked off when the South Tower collapsed.

Indomitable human spirit. I wish we knew his name.
