Please see the COVID-19 scorecard for Friday, Dec. 18. The 99 deaths that have occurred in the last week mark the highest seven-day death total so far. Additionally, the 328 COVID-19 patients in #BalladHealth hospitals mark the highest hospitalization count to-date.
The Tri-Cities region continues to break records in the COVID-19 pandemic. A record 913 more cases were added Monday.
Tuesday, the region exceeded 600 total deaths. One hundred people are dying from the virus every 11 to 14 days.
November is Diabetes Awareness Month. This week we'll focus on management tips. Have you heard of Project Diabetes? It is a state-funded initiative. Grants are awarded to community partners with a focus on reducing overweight and obesity as risk factors for diabetes.
