Don't miss this week's edition of The Pedon! I respond to the smoke and mirrors put out by @Bayer and #Monsanto in attempt to make their legal troubles fade into the sunset like a character in a Marty Robbins tune.

We are beginning to see that the chemicals cranked out by the chemical industry are like sharks' teeth. When one falls out, another drops in its place (with similar functionality AND toxicity). When is EPA and FDA going to start looking at chronic toxicity instead of just acute?
We are pleased to announce that the EPA has granted federal registration for low‑volatility dicamba herbicides in 34 states. State approvals and applicator training coming next. Full details at https://t.co/AG2KVVGsJC
Want to get behind the scenes of the court cases bringing @Bayer to its knees & driving the decision to stop selling Roundup to consumers? Check out The Monsanto Papers. So many crazy plot twists & intriguing characters I knew I had to write it all down! https://t.co/bSafB1EHaZ
@alison_elinor I remember a conversation with someone not long ago about using the ally way or fence row as a benchmark. This was exactly my point. More C input doesn't equal more C storage. Soils get saturated in a given soil.
@BuettnerTerry What do you want to know? I've been saying for years (and looked at like I'm crazy) that we should be growing rice where we get crop insurance payments for flooding year in and year out or (worse) pump the water table down so that you can grow corn (yes you read that correctly).
