@MatrixMysteries@grok Where is this video from and can you say the purpose of the rally? Has there been any critics of USA or Israel, or antisemitism reported in the rally?
“As long as I’m alive, I will keep searching.”
Oleksii Yukov, the head of the Platsdarm search and recovery team, has been killed.
For years, Yukov and his team risked their lives recovering the bodies of fallen Ukrainian defenders from active front lines, minefields, and occupied territory, ensuring families could finally bring their loved ones home and lay them to rest with dignity.
Even under constant artillery fire and FPV drone attacks, they never stopped.
He also made a promise to every Ukrainian soldier:
“Come home alive. But if the worst happens, we will find you. We will bring you home. One hundred percent.”
Rest in peace, Oleksii. Thank you for bringing so many heroes home.
I was driving and the cars ahead of me pulled to the side of the road, so I pulled to the side of the road, because I assumed we were all about to be arrested.
Nothing came. No siren. No police.
Then, slowly, from the other direction, a line of cars with their headlights on.
The oncoming traffic stopped too. Both directions. A four lane road went silent for a stranger.
A man in the truck ahead of me got out of his truck. He stood beside the door. He took his cap off, held it against his chest, and looked at the road.
He did not know them. I asked him afterward. He did not know them.
I want to describe what I did next, and I am aware that it was excessive.
I got out. I straightened my jacket. I faced the road and I bowed from the waist, thirty degrees, which is the depth we reserve for a superior you will never be able to repay, and I held it until the last vehicle had passed, which took forty seconds, and my back hurt, and I did not care.
Then I said to the man in the cap that in eight hundred years my country has produced a great deal of ceremony, that we have written manuals on the correct depth of a bow for seventeen separate situations, and that we have nothing, nothing whatsoever, that stops a highway for a person no one in the road has ever met.
He said, "Yeah, we do that here."
I said that it is not a small thing.
He said, "Nah."
I said that a nation which halts its own commerce, with no order given, with no law compelling it, for a family it will never be introduced to, has understood something my ancestors would have gone to war to be taught.
He said, "You from Japan?"
I said yes.
He said, "Cool," and got back in his truck.
I have since been told it is not required by law in most places. It is done because it is done. Somebody's grandfather did it, did not explain it, and the explanation was not necessary.
I have stopped four times since.
Twice I was alone on the road. Nobody saw me do it.
I got out both times.

I needed to move a sofa.
I mentioned this to an American. He said, "You know anybody with a truck?"
I did not know anybody with a truck.
He looked at me with real concern. Not pity. Concern. The way you look at a man who has told you he does not have a name.
"You gotta know somebody with a truck."
I asked how one acquires such a person.
He said, "You just do."
This is the third time I have received that answer in this country. It is the answer to everything here. You just do. There is no process. There is only the eventual fact of having.
He said, "Ask Kevin."
I do not know a Kevin. He said Kevin like I should. He said it the way you say a shared uncle.
I met Kevin four days later. Kevin owns a truck. Kevin does not own a truck for himself. Nobody owns a truck for themselves. Kevin owns a truck for a fifteen mile radius.
Inside I said: THIS MAN HAS TAKEN A VOW. HE DID NOT ANNOUNCE IT. HE SIMPLY PURCHASED A BED AND ACCEPTED THE CONSEQUENCES.
Kevin arrived on Saturday. He brought the truck. He also brought a second man.
I had not asked for a second man.
The second man's name is Tony. Tony came because Kevin came. Tony did not know me. Tony did not ask what we were moving. Tony brought gloves.
They moved the sofa in eleven minutes.
I offered them money. Both of them laughed at the same time, which felt rehearsed and was not.
I asked what I owed them.
Kevin said, "Buy the pizza."
That is the price. That is the entire economy. The truck costs one pizza and the pizza is not negotiable and the pizza is also not expensive and everyone knows what size.
Inside I said: THE FEE IS FIXED ACROSS THE ENTIRE NATION AND WAS SET BY NO ONE.
We ate on the floor because the sofa was against the wall and none of us wanted to be the first to sit on it.
Tony told me his daughter plays soccer. I asked if she is good. He said, "She's aggressive."
I still think about that.
Three weeks later, Kevin texted me.
"You free Sunday? Helping Tony move a fridge."
He did not ask if I wanted to. He informed me of a fridge.
Inside I said: I HAVE BEEN CALLED UP. I DID NOT ENLIST. THE PAPERS WERE FILED ON MY BEHALF.
I went. I moved the fridge. I have no truck. I contributed only arms.
Afterward, a man I had never met asked me if I knew anybody with a truck.
I said, "Yeah, I got a guy."
I have a guy.
I am somebody's guy now, too. Tony has told two people about me.
He describes me as "the guy who's strong for his size."
I have never been prouder of a sentence in my life.
🇷🇺 Nothing says ‘wartime leadership’ and ‘patriotism’ quite like throwing a $112,000 birthday party at one of Moscow's most expensive restaurants.
After an explosion struck Balzi Rossi during Russian Aerospace Forces commander Alexander Chaiko's birthday party, Z-channels spent less time condemning the attack than questioning what Chaiko was doing there in the first place.
“Only in our country are important facilities burning every day while some f*cking general celebrates his birthday with a 9-million-ruble party.”
— TG channel ‘
“If the target of the terrorist attack was senior military officers, why were they in a restaurant? Have we already won the war? Are there no problems at the front? A strange place to be stationed.”
“The Khokhols tried to kill yet another top military commander — this time the commander of an entire branch of the armed forces. Along with all his guests, meaning a whole crowd of elite officers.
Only the professionalism and heroism of the security officer, may he rest in peace, prevented it.
And let me add, in case anyone hasn't noticed: in just one week they've tried to kill a top general and two drone manufacturers (one of whom is in critical condition).
Meanwhile, we still insist on being ‘better than them.’ We don't assassinate anyone.
We don't even try. What are we waiting for? Until they go after the grandpa at the top? And what if they succeed?”
— TG channel ‘
“What's the takeaway? The commander should focus on the war and defeating terrorists instead of wandering around restaurants where soup costs 6,000 rubles.
He felt like the 'elite' a little too early. During wartime, anniversaries should be celebrated with family and trusted friends. Elite restaurants can wait until after victory.”
— TG channel ‘
“Nothing surprising here. Everyone knows the condition the Aerospace Forces' infantry regiments are in...
The commander, who has never distinguished himself as a military leader anywhere, somehow... was trying to conquer a banquet hall instead.”
— TG channel ‘Репортер Filatov’
“There's a war on, and they're out partying in restaurants, holding banquets, for f*ck's sake.”
— TG channel ‘No Pasaran’
“Balzi Rossi is one of the most expensive restaurants in Moscow. In 2021 it was put up for sale for nearly one billion rubles.
It's a restaurant for the very wealthy: Yana Rudkovskaya, Victoria Bonya, government officials, and politicians have all celebrated birthdays there. The prices are eye-watering...
The situation has generated not so much sympathy as disappointment and outrage.
People say that a recently appointed general chose one of Moscow's most fashionable venues to celebrate his birthday.
Our people still can't seem to grasp that there's a war on and we're all in the crosshairs. And then there's the elitist attitude of those in uniform — not barbecuing at the dacha, but renting out an ultra-expensive restaurant.”
— Anastasia Kashevarova.

Absolute power becomes a death match whereby the only way to rise is by eliminating everyone who could stop you. And the grand prize for winning is getting eliminated by the next one who rises.
>over half the 1934 Party Congress that cheered Stalin were arrested within 4 years
>Zinoviev and Kamenev helped Stalin crush Trotsky and were then shot after confessing under a false promise their families would live
>Yezhov, who signed hundreds of thousands of death warrants, was later shot by his own deputy, Beria, after he took the job
The only durable strategy is perpetual preemptive murder in a cesspool of commie revolutionaries forever eating their own.
BREAKING:
The death toll from this morning’s drone explosion on a beach in Gelendzhik, Russia has increased to 7, including 3 children. 40+ are wounded.
Russian mobile fire teams shot down the Ukrainian drone as it was on its way to strike the Rassvet recreation base, which belongs to NPO Mashinostroeniya, a major Russian defense contractor building cruise missiles and other weapons for the Russian military.
The drone fell 300 meters short of its target and hit a crowded public beach instead, killing 7 civilians.
Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine continues to claim Russian lives.
