This is 2026. People cosplaying as things they don’t have the authority, the talent, or the track record to actually be. Just for content.
A mayor playing president. A founder playing operator. A content creator playing one-on-one thinking he’s a pro. A 25yr old with a ring light playing economist. Everyone auditioning. Nobody building.
Were raising a generation that learning the reward isn’t in doing the thing it’s in looking like you did the thing. The clip is the career. The pose is the product. The soundbite is the substitute for a life’s work.
Don't fall for distractions
@tielemaans not trying to generalise here but for a society known for its humour, its ridiculous how cagey and general downers a lot of them are lol. boggles the mind.
he'll win. dems should hope that moron in the VP office runs with the baton because this guy will decimate whatever establishment dem they put forward (aoc isn't ready yet).
@brxinbusterr is it though? i mean it's capitalism in action as usual but.. those servers are prohibitively expensive. i'd rather this than a hard cap on who can access a new tech experience.
can we stop with this nonsense now? you can have the best athletes in the world but futbol is about MUCH more than athleticism, particularly amongst the 99th percentile of the sport. you just don't magically become good at it by putting your best athletes at it, without a pathway
In case you're wondering why America will never be in the World Cup finals, it's because if a young athlete with the speed and agility of Lamine Yamal grew up in America, he'd be playing wide receiver at a college like LSU and then in the NFL like Ja'Marr Chase.
