- Clervie was the biological daughter of the previous caretaker (this didn’t translate over to the English version but it was in the Chinese version) which means the previous caretaker allowed her own daughter to be killed during the fighting

- She does have a curse (don’t know details)
- In the old HotH, kids were raised to fight their siblings to be ‘king’
- The Tsaritsa pardoned her and got her to join the Fatui

another observation: crucabena's true personality is what many thought arlecchino's would be in fontaine's early days. the kids of the orphanage love her, but us players never knew if we could trust her, or whether those kids were just being strung on.

but she DOES care.

crucabena appeared warm, gentle, and motherly towards the orphanage kids - which we learned was all a fake persona. she never truly cared, only pretended to.

arlecchino actively tries to be the opposite of what she was.
