ohh, 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺, don’t you know i 𝖘𝖚𝖋𝖋𝖊𝖗~ .ᐟ.ᐟ
📲 ‘absolutely not Nat, the music helps me focus’
in fact he switches over to an even louder song tho he doesn’t actually up the volume
‘if you can’t sleep just stop by the workshop, much better down here anyway.. got good music ;)’
@HeartInACave
📲
you wanna turn down your music down there? some of us are trying to sleep right now.
you have some really loud music taste.
“target practice first my fashionable friend” he steps forward to grab one of the weapons.
“most of these are finished designs, soon as you deem one worthy i’d just have give a paint job and pretend it accidentally fell into your hands” he raises a brow and smirks “good?”
"funny usually people claim that’s my ego is the problem”
“are you sure in your mind ‘whoever deserves it’ and ‘me’ aren’t the same person? but, no” he snaps his fingers again and on the other side of the space another part of the wall opens up to reveal a training space. +
" yeah , yeah . the money's gone to your head . " he said whilst rolling his eyes . but he trails behind him , side-eyeing the keypad .
once settled into the workshop , his eyes appraise the weapons .
tiny smirk .
+
on show. “i must admit, some days i have much more fun designing for you instead of others. you don’t mind when things get..” he motions his hand “𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘺”
“tell me your preference Skullhead, grenade launcher or good old rifle? what would you like to test first”
“course i’m flashy” he says with a shrug “comes with what i do” he gives a wink.
he punches in a quick code at the door to his workshop, the place immediately coming to life as he steps through the door.
he snaps his fingers and a part of the wall opens up. a weapons rack now +
" it was sarcasm . "
muttered under his breath , figuring stark wouldn't listen . he nodded .
" there's nothing wrong with my outfit when it comes to what I do . you're .. flashy . "
+
“sorry sorry.. i shouldn’t be teasing you, i have a weapon to show you”
he motions his head “walk with me to the workshop please? cmon, fast as your white combat boots can carry you”
“well” he laughs “no.. clearly you aren’t, because i’m wearing a custom made suit and you—” he takes another good look
“are you wearing matching boots and gloves..?” he tries to hide his smile by chewing on and fidgeting with the plastic stick in his mouth.
he tilts his head +
his eyes are locked on the other , lips curled into a resting scowl .
" I should've expected you to start talkin' like that . "
a glance at his outfit . scoffing , sarcastic .
" I'm not trying to compete with 𝐲𝐨𝐮 . "
he hums “that depends..”
he’s chewing absentmindedly on a lollipop stick “about you running out of bullets? no as i’m rather sure you’ll get your hands on more quickly enough”
his eyes flick up and down “about your fashion choices? absolutely- that’s worrying” he grins
staring ahead at the math problem on the screen before him, is he actually trying to solve it or just dissociating…
// i’ve been reading doom quest as well as some stuff leading up to one world under doom and fuck me i’m doctor doom brained right now :’)
i need to write with one or i might go crazy
// i’m not crying watching endgame in theater right now.. what makes you think that? i say while actively sobbing
‘𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯
𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’
loud music is blasting from the workshop
// okay i can’t stop thinking about this actually someone dm and plot with me cause i’ve got a list of fucking headcanons about this
// the urge to write post snap Tony.. raahhhh
“me? oh no no.. i don’t do pathetic but you are right i can get a little desperate and i certainly am lately”
“do i have audacity? well yes but come on how can i not.. i’m me. inadequate? never” he smiles “but fine fine.. let me be humble, bow my head. how would i impress you?”
you are so mired in your privilege, your attempt at 'kindness' as you so laughably put it, is quite pathetic.
or perhaps it is your own audacity which makes you so inadequate. either way doom remains unimpressed.
// the urge to write post snap Tony.. raahhhh
himself a drink. “again, i know since i’m now your boss and all— great work last night with the salmon by the way, anyhow.. i understand you may feel nervous answering but i’ll remind you again that you do not have to answer. i’d rather you keep things secret than lie to me”
“i understand” he nods then hums. “Jarvis bring up the uhm mutant file thingy” he says as he looks over at a nearby screen “not entirely unheard of.. telepathy”
he probably shouldn’t be grilling his new hire, he isn’t trying to. Tony is just a very curious man. “are you saying +
“ its just hard to explain. ” his brows furrow, a hint of frustration in their voice. “ this——— 𝘶𝘨𝘩. this 𝙥ower is very new to me. all i know is that ⇨
you can’t control it? don’t know how to activate it? would it work on me?” he ask before pausing. he gives a smile
“sorry, why don’t you have a seat. care for a drink?” he asks and without waiting for an answer he makes his way to the workshop liquor cabinet and he pours +
