JIN ON WEVERSE 🌟
🐹: How have you all been
It's Chuseok in Korea Enjoy Chuseok~ (meaning a joyful Chuseok)
I changed my phone and it's been a while since I last greeted you, but I'm trying to recover my Weverse password
I have finished the second North American tour and am recovering my condition to prepare for the South American tour.
Since it's Chuseok, I'm spending a joyful time having a meal with my family for the first time in a while. It's the moment I forcibly teach my dad what I'm playing, and it's really fun. My father says he is happy too.
Have a great time, everyone!

@iHeartRadio Disrespecting the very people who showed up and packed your festival from day one, then calling them “losers” simply because they complained about sound issues — issues that were also pointed out by people outside the fandom — is completely unacceptable. Instead of acknowledging the criticism, explaining what happened, or simply apologizing, you chose to attack the people who attended and supported your event.
But dragging Jungkook into this and mocking his name crosses another line entirely. He traveled nearly 12 hours specifically to perform at your festival, went on stage for barely 15 minutes, and still gave it everything he had as the professional he is. Using his name as a joke when he had absolutely nothing to do with those complaints is incredibly disrespectful. Deliberately mocking a Korean name can also play into racist and xenophobic stereotypes that a media outlet should know better than to normalize.
This is also disrespectful to BTS as a whole. For years, they have always shown nothing but professionalism, kindness, and willingness to participate in iHeartRadio shows and events. Whenever they have been invited, they have given their time and treated everyone with respect. The very least they deserve in return is that same respect.
We demand a public apology from @TheWoodyShow to BTS, and especially to Jungkook, for mocking his name. We also expect iHeartRadio to address what happened and take it seriously. Criticism about problems at an event can be addressed and explained. Insulting your own audience and turning one of the artists who showed up for your festival into the punchline is not an acceptable response.
People are always quick to talk about the toxic side of this fandom, but rarely acknowledge how passionate, dedicated, loyal, supportive, and united it can be. One of the most beautiful communities to ever exist.
I’ll never forget how nervous Jin was to meet us again after 18 months or the way his voice cracked when he said ARMY for the first time. But most importantly I’ll never forget the look of relief on his face knowing that he was finally back and wouldn’t have to leave us again.
they spotted yoongi wearing seiko and my brain IMMEDIATELY went to ‘the last’. i’m sorry but i CANNOT stop thinking about this 😭
in ‘the last’, he talks about going “from seiko to rolex” as this symbol of making it. going from where he started to the place he once dreamed of reaching.
and now, years later, he’s wearing seiko again. meanwhile there’s a tiny keychain from a toy machine hanging off his stuff and a sticker of his beloved son tang on his phone.
and THAT is what gets me.
because yes, yoongi can afford a rolex. he can afford pretty much anything that the younger version of him could’ve dreamed of. but somehow, after everything, he’s still someone who gets attached to the little things.
a random toy from a machine. a tiny sticker of tang. little objects that remind him of people and things he loves.
he doesn’t need to show how far he’s come through every single thing he owns. and i think there’s so much of yoongi in that.
he went from seiko to rolex, achieved things younger yoongi probably couldn’t even imagine, and yet somehow he still has that same soft attachment to ordinary little things.
from seiko to rolex and back to seiko. what a full circle
