I absolutely love Only Murders in the Building, but it is 100% an Autumn show. It should be on in blanket and hot chocolate weather, not multiple heatwave season #omitb

Also Glen Powell - what a revelation! There are so many young actors that are great, but I can’t really think of another than oozes charisma like he does in Top Gun: Maverick. Why are Chris Pratt and Tom Holland getting plum blockbuster roles when this guy is right here?!

[Tara @heartthetalkies]

I wanted to see Top Gun: Maverick, but wasn’t super excited as belated sequels can be hit and miss. With all the positive reaction, I didn’t want to get too excited, but what an amazing blockbuster! Absolutely loved it #TopGunMaverick

I also liked the fact that for what feels like the first time in ages, Tom Cruise was shown to be shorter than other actors - like in the old days!

[Amy Nicholson @TheAmyNicholson]

It's the 17th anniversary of Cruise's career-altering trip to Oprah.

Here's hoping TOP GUN 2 gives him the serotonin hit he needs to get back to making movies like MAGNOLIA 🤞

Re-watching Top Gun in anticipation of Top Gun: Maverick in a few weeks. As much as I’m looking forward to the film, it’s going to be missing two key ingredients: Tony Scott and Kenny Loggins.
