Delighted there’ll be a nationally funded #CervicalCancer awareness campaign in 2019. Urgent need to turn around downward trend in uptake. Pleased @JoTrust has been able to offer its insight to support @PHE_Screening in taking this forward https://t.co/71ZYjs5KQQ
9 years today Jade Goody died from #cervicalcancer. Thanks to her public battle an extra 400k women went for #smeartest. Now numbers at 20 year low. More must be done to mordernise & improve system to offer what women want e.g. #HPV self test & better access via any GP surgery
Name it, normalise it, socialise it. For too long, cancer has been locked in a drawer labelled Things We Don't Talk About | George Monbiot https://t.co/wVzCBqgSET
Please RT for the surgeon who walked almost 3 hours in the snow to operate on her cancer patient.
Please keep your #ThankYouNHS messages coming too and let’s show all staff how grateful we are for their dedication https://t.co/BNB70A1YRb
Listening to @bbc5live discuss #SmearForSmear campaign. Hearing another cervical cancer sufferer discuss her experience. Sounds exactly like my wife. Don't put your test off ladies. Just don't take the risk. My kids have a mum due to early diagnosis. Don't play cancer roulette.
Any physical activity is better than none and it’s never too late to get more active to improve health – more in #PHEHealthMatters https://t.co/19x5lelZEp
We won't sort out the NHS unless we sort out poverty which dramatically increases your need to use the NHS. Flu is bad enough, but flu, hypothermia, malnutrition & dehydration is lethal. We must address the causes of the causes. Anything else is a very expensive sticking plaster
