Thank you President Trump for sending FEMA to Indiana, I have hope in fixing our broken communities, way more faith in FEMA than in Nipsco. I’m just hoping to be able to fix the damage and be proud of my home again. #POTUS 🇺🇸
Hoosiers in Northwest Indiana residents have been without power for 11 days, according to Gov. Mike Braun.
That’s surprising, given we’ve been repeatedly told about how NIPSCO is investing in the energy grid.
That, after all, is supposedly why NIPSCO customers pay the highest electricity rate in the state.
That’s supposedly why private equity (Blackstone Infrastructure Partners) bought a 19.9% stake in the company in 2024.
That’s supposedly why we’re supposed to support data centers. They’ll save the grid!
(And we wonder why people aren’t buying it.)
