I don't know that a reasonable discussion is possible with someone who's framework is "i negate or villify your identity" That's why bigotry and Nazism are bad, no?

@heymrsbond @officedepot Prolly bc it's a loss leader. They take a lower margin on some items like NBs but count on people buying other stuff as well once they are in the door.

@KKNTeachLearn @neileley So it's more a matter of communicating with tchrs, acknowledging their frustrations and perhaps offering any considerations that are possible (i.e. rotate who gets that last Fri period each yr, or offer to cover a bathroom break if needed, or be flexible in some other way.

@MrZachG Yes.. and t can be beneficial to teach new strategies with familiar content (so, learn basic persuasive essay structure with familiar content as a scaffold), and then move on to using that new structure with new content. Both/and, not either/or.

@Eduventuring04 It's not an either/or - it's both-and! The small class size, O-G support, extra adults in the room all helped, too, I'd imagine.

@Angela_Watson I think most things that would be good for ND kids would also help me as a teacher-smaller classes, fewer transitions or some downtime between transitions, opportunities to pursue areas of interest (during PD, for ex), more movement, normalize sensory regulation strategies.

@MrZachG @NIFDI This is Reading/Writing workshop 101. Bring students to the meeting area for mini lessons. Trying to teach when they are spread across the room is way too hard. They go back to their tables or other spots for independent/small group work. Been doing this for 20 yrs.

Any household responsibilities - dishes, laundry, cleaning, making shopping lists, going shopping, putting groceries away, planning meals, prepping meals, cleaning up after meals, packing lunches, etc etc etc etc?
