It’s not just about “keeping kids in classrooms”. It should be about the teachers and educational support workers that make those rooms special. A classroom is a room. But great teachers, those people change lives. If you care about kids, support and pay teachers fairly. ❤️
I had the pleasure of joining the staff at @manwrdsb yesterday, greeting families with the message of "Welcome back to school, we are so happy you are here!" to every little person that came my way ✨These moments mean everything 💙 @wrdsb
Thank you @dinah_murdoch for the nomination!✨ Here I am walking to my bus stop on the first day of Kindergarten at @frawrdsb

Passion and commitment can transform any culture.
"When you listen, you have to do something with what you hear"💙

@jeewanc, your words brought me joy and a sense of belonging. Mission accomplished 😉
@wrdsb
@MsBrooksWRDSB@realJ_Mitchell I consistently admire the work you do in your classroom and have thought how many students will benefit from the important conversations you are having. Thank you for doing what you do. ❤️
Kids don't plan to come to school to get into trouble. Behaviour is a form of communication and quite often - the reason for it will make you sad, not angry.
