@amelia_tweetz None of this ends up actually being true in practice. Kids are people and we all self-sort into our perceived slots. And no, it does not save money. You just end up having two sets of clothes.

@JahadRiley As long as you put grades in timely and tests are released timely to be able to view. The problem is when this is not done and principals knee jerk to defend teachers instead of investigating and finding a way to help.

@S_Oberle Well, maybe this is why back in the day kids didn't start school until kindergarten? Some 3 and 4 year olds are not there yet and it's a good chance that they came directly from daycare.

@JillFilipovic The adults in the system. Online tests are quicker to grade. Online practice is required to do well on the online tests. No helping kids manage executive function with planners and writing on paper. It's all on google classroom and it's up to the kids to deal. It sucks.

@banjorun @AConcernedPare2 Yes, my plan was for them to go to school 5 days a week. This does not make me a bad parent, very nice try though. Maybe have a rational argument on why this is a necessary change instead of ad hominem attacks. Learning science does not back it.
