@Monev_the_Gale @Lewy601 @VuIy_ @ruggyscruggy On a strict reading of the rules, being cut in half vertically does prevent most forms of ressurrection, actually, because they explicitly say they don't restore body parts and have no other wording about reconecting those parts either (like Regenerate does).

@VuIy_ Because spells like Regenerate and Raise Dead do specify that restoring body parts is a separate effect, we know for a fact that this is not included in any spell that doesn't mention it.

@VuIy_ Actually do go and read those spells. They say something like "regains a number of hit points equal to X". No mention of wounds except for a few spells such as Regenerate and Raise Dead. It is up to the GM to interpret what "ragaining HP" means, but body parts aren't included.

I think that is silly but you can argue that. Either way, you would still be missing half of your body, because simple healing spells don't cure that.

@Monev_the_Gale @Lewy601 @VuIy_ @ruggyscruggy Per the rules, a dismembered body part only reconecte with Regenerate. Cure Wounds says nothing of sort. Ergo, per the rules, no, if you are cut in half a simple Cure Wounds wouldn't reattach your body together. Or natural healing for that matter.

@VuIy_ @Lewy601 You are making an absurd interpretation of the rules and I think you know it. You don't need magic to heal from death saves. Are you seriously trying to argue that regular medicine in DnD, or just plain luck (20 in a death save) can heal you from being cut in half?

@VuIy_ @ruggyscruggy No it can't. I don't know why people keep repeating this, but DnD's Cure Wounds *can't* do any thing of sorts. In fact, no healing spell can, without negotiating with the GM. even regeneration (a much high level spell) only regrow limbs, no word of nerves and the like.

The original "study" that linked vaccine to autism is just atrociously bad in every conceivable level and existed solely to help its "researcher" to sell his own vaccines.

@agusutint @_puppytown The 07th mod is mostly about bringing console features to the Steam version which, personally, I don't recommend. If you want to keep close to the original the mod is a mixed bag. It brings some of the old music, but it also introduces some sprites sooner than in the original.

@agusutint @NerdyGhosts I agree. But, also, I just think the OG backgrounds look better. Even outside the atmosphere, I think the blurry photos way more visually appealing than the sterile generic anime backgrounds of the PS version.

@softmossdog @VVNKer If we were to argue in good faith, and descriptively, I think it is possible the -e suffix does imply an extra dose of femininity to the word. At least anecdotally I've seem 'femme' used for lesbians more often than not, while 'fem' seems more generic, so to speak.

@VVNKer @nrduford And so does the 'fem' stem of the word. That also means "woman". But that is not the point. To police and impose a strong gendered distinction between fem and femme is both ahistorical and harmful.

@Mirrormn @Mewtsukki @katrinaltrnsl8r Yeah, as a non native speaker I would struggle even conceptualizing sherbet and gelato "not ice cream". They aren't categorically different to me, they all use the same generic word in my language and I would parse it as "ice cream" in English as a result.
