Cool narrative, unfortunately it's mathematically, statistically and financially illiterate.
Three questions:
1/ What is the chance that this is groundbreaking new tech and simply nobody thought about it before?
2/ What is the chance we considered it and we dismissed it years ago because it made no sense?
3/ And what is the chance that it's just twitter narrative slop?
Misinformation is rampant and pollutes the Solana timeline these days, but this is an easy one to debunk.
Minimal liquidation close factor that takes you back to health at that moment in time is actually not the optimal liquidation strategy. It seems borrower friendly, but it's not.

1/ Ethena's USDe supply is up $3.7B in just 20 days, driven primarily by the Pendle-Aave PT-USDe looping strategy.
With $4.3B (60% of total USDe) now locked in Pendle and $3B deposited in Aave, here's a breakdown of the PT loop mechanics, growth vectors, and potential risks:
How I missed investing in Uber and how it directly led me to one of my most incredible trades. This is actually one of the most memorable stories because its a lesson of turning a private market insight into a fully actionable public market short.
In 2014 Uber was raising and I desperately wanted to invest; ride sharing was very obviously going to become a global phenomenon. At the time I didn't have a huge brand in growth investing and so despite hustling like crazy I wasn't able to get in the round. I remember it like yesterday, depressed and feeling poor I headed to get halal chicken and rice on 56th street. (when I had bad days it was usually this or mcd's as a form of self punishment.) I stood in line for 20 mins and then headed to the park; as I did so, I crossed a huge line of yellow cabs and a light bulb went off. If uber/ride sharing was going to become ubiquitous then yellow cab medallions were going to become worthless. It was perfectly, inversely correlated. I dropped the halal guys and ran towards the office. I had found a back door way of betting on Uber.
I quickly researched if there were any public companies that had exposure to medallions and one name popped up $TAXI which had NYC, Toronto and a bunch of other exposure. To my shock, the stock was trading just shy of 20, not too far off from ATH prices. The stock also had low delta options all the way out to 1 year. The final catalyst was that UberX planned to cut fares below yellow cab prices in a few weeks time and it seemed pretty clear that this would at a minimum bring the question of "what are medallions worth" to the forefront.
The next day I began to buy 3, 4 and 5 usd strike puts for 6m and 9m expiry's. I became the likely largest owner of downside puts on TAXI and over the next few months after the price cuts the stock tanked to 2.50. On average I made a 50x return over 3 months in a completely non market correlated investment. ( this ended up being much much better than having gotten into uber::)
Markets are alot more efficient these days; in particular between private and public markets knowledge and all the crossover funds. That being said sectors like AI are moving so rapidly that its worth thinking about if X happens on the private side, what is Y worth on the public side. There is likely going to be severe disruption and probably some layups along the way. Always keep an open mind, and always think about 2nd order effects.
