.@Channel4News have reported that the UK ambassador to Afghanistan, Laurie Bristow, has remained at Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport and is personally processing visas for Afghans wishing to escape to the United Kingdom.

He doesn't intend to leave until the end.

@Nestorbars Yes sir. I have been on a few roofs and I had never seen it before. It was surprisingly slick.

We were able to do some roof training last shift. From the ground I wasn’t sure what the white coating was. I was surprised to find that the grit had worn off of the shingles and that was the fiberglass backing. That part of the roof was very slick and hard to work on.
