People not realizing each game can have its own theme and that dialogue was necessary to bring some points across in classic and modern Metroid games alike is crazy to me. Even the title called DREAD had some dialogue in it and it was great!

There should be NO TALKING in Metroid. None! Aside from perhaps a simple intro like Super Metroid. These games are about isolation, feeling alone in alien worlds where inhabitants are long gone and the only lifeforms left are either hostile or indifferent to your presence.
