In 1998, a 13-year-old girl was abducted and raped at knifepoint in Alicante, Spain. The rapist, 63-year old Antonio Cosme, was sentenced to 9 years in jail.

7 years later, in 2005, the victim's mother, María del Carmen García, was waiting at a bus stop when she saw a man approaching.

"How's your daughter doing?" the man asked with a smirk on his face.

It was her daughter's rapist.

Antonio was out on day release.

Enraged by what had just happened, Maria ran to the nearest store, purchased 1.5 litres of gasoline, and walked into the bar that Antonio had just entered.

She doused him head-to-toe with gasoline, lit him up, and stood back and calmly watched as her daughter's rapist burned alive in front of her eyes.

Maria was sentenced to 9.5 years in jail for her act of revenge, but was released in 2018 after serving 5.5 years.

Today, she lives freely in Spain after being reunited with her daughter.

Você merece alguém que reconheça o quanto você é importante. Talvez, se essa pessoa saiu da sua vida, seja porque não era para permanecer nela.” Mas o homem ainda voltou, aparentemente querendo fazê-la sofrer mais. E foi nesse momento que o cachorro reagiu, latindo como se dissesse: “Você não vai encostar nela! Vá embora e procure outra pessoa para descontar os seus caprichos.” Às vezes, Deus coloca até os animais no nosso caminho para nos lembrar que, mesmo nos momentos em que nos sentimos sozinhos, ainda existe amor, proteção e alguém capaz de perceber a nossa dor. 🐶❤️🙏

This is Bonnie Pierce, a 38-year-old mother of three from St. Paul, Minnesota. Her house caught fire. She and two of her children escaped, then realized her toddler was still inside.
Bonnie went back in, found the child, but could not get out. She shielded the child with her body. She died from her burns. The child survived.
A GoFundMe for her family raised about $42,000.
By comparison, more than $1,000,000 was raised on GoFundMe for Lindsay Clancy, who was charged with killing her children.
It is a sad reflection of the society we have become.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Stop overthinking, if it's God's will, it will happen and nothing will stop it. If it's not, he has a better plan. Have peace in that. Not once in the Bible does it say to worry about it, stress over it, or figure it out. But over and over, it clearly says, "Trust God." God is bigger than all your worries and fears. God's plans will always be greater and more beautiful than all your disappointments. When God is all you have, you have all you need. He's got you. If you trust God, save this and come back to it when you need the reminder. Put a devoted "Amen" to enemy flee.
