@lucypapoosky Yes Project Screen are 9-5, but the actual observation is done by a US company called Azova, who seem to have loads of appointment slots. Just leave enough time to receive your kit in the mail and book your observation time asap.
@lucypapoosky I did the test on Sunday afternoon. They said it would take 3hrs for the certificate to come through, but it ended up taking more like 9. So slightly stressful - but it worked out!
We’ve been writing a screenplay for the last year and a half. BUT… we start writing it in screenplay format next month. Writing the script is about 10% of the writing process for us, most of it is researching + outlining.
It’s ok to not be that writer who “cranks out scripts”.
@adrandall Incredible! Such an amazing achievement. I can only imagine the level of dedication and hard work that went into this - look what you’ve done!! This is so inspiring Adam.

@KINOFILM@YourMCR@salfordstar09 Thanks @KINOFILM ! But what's Sorry To Eat You? My film is called 'Pleased to Eat You!'. Here's a trailer. (p.s. Can I suggest you notify filmmakers when screenings are scheduled? If I wasn't paying attention to twitter I'd have no idea this was happening)
In 2019-20 I took my short film to fests. Here's my submissions spreadsheet. 121 submissions. Of those: 102 rejections (blue) 19 acceptances (green), 4 award wins (red). And finally 2 invites (yellow). Love something but keep getting rejected? Stick with it, it'll be worth it.
About 15 years ago I came home close to midnight - probably drunk - and switched on Film4 out of habit. Memories of Murder was just starting and I sat there rapt for the next 2 hrs. One of my all time favs. I can't wait to upgrade from my old macro-blocky dvd to this! @Criterion
