Plus don’t call me crazy but this whole parallel world thing now made me think about something I casually read months ago about space 😭

There’s this red star called GJ 1002, and I found out that it has two planets, GJ 1002 b and c, which are basically two parallel worlds orbiting the same red dwarf star but with very different conditions. One receives more light and is warmer, while the other receives much less and is much colder. Both are particularly interesting to scientists because they’re relatively close to Earth in terms of size and mass and orbit within the star’s habitable zone.

And somehow it immediately made me think of ENHYPEN’s whole parallel-world imagery because… two different worlds, sharing the same “sun” 🥲 And the star itself is a red dwarf, which kind of looks like a real-life version of the red sphere we keep seeing in ENHA’s visuals.

What makes it even more fun is that one world receives more light while the other receives much less, which made me think of how ENHYPEN often plays with warm/red vs cold/blue lighting, almost as if the same source of light is being experienced differently depending on which world or side you’re in.

And then there’s the contrast between the two worlds itself, you could almost imagine one as a warmer rocky world and the colder one as a more icy/water-dominated world, although we obviously don’t actually know what their surfaces are like. 😭

And I mean… it’s also kind of funny that the system is literally called GJ 1002 😭 Like, of all the numbers, 1002??

Probably absolutely nothing and just my brain connecting dots that don’t need to be connected, but two parallel worlds + one common red “sun” + warm/cold contrast + red/blue light + 1002 was way too funny not to mention. 🥲

It’s easy to draw connections when someone has been part of the story for so many years. It’s also easy to walk that thin line, leaving just enough ambiguity to keep a certain audience hoping, while keeping everyone engaged.
The connections are there, but there is never any guarantee that they will actually lead somewhere. Asking questions and noticing patterns is not a bad thing, but we should also remember to consider every possible outcome, including the one we may not want to be true.

belift’s way of promoting this comeback is genuinely insane to me because how are you going to sell a six-member album while constantly leaving traces of a seventh person everywhere?

the gaps in the photocards, the group formations and now the album being called “parallel world” when ot7s have spent MONTHS theorizing about heeseung being in a parallel world. like…i’m sorry but do you understand how crazy that looks from our perspective?

and before anyone starts, no, i’m not saying any of this confirms his return. that’s exactly what bothers me.

they’re officially promoting six members while leaving just enough room for people to keep questioning whether there’s something more. enough to keep the theories alive, enough to make people look twice, enough to keep that door barely open without actually promising anything.

and isn’t that veeery convenient?

even that article used a seven-member picture to promote a six-member comeback. and if you truly understand how much power hybe holds over media outlets it’s rather suspicious isn’t it? they themselves are using the division to maximize engagements. so you won’t ever convince me it was NOT intentional.

because let’s be serious for a second. belift KNOWS ot7s exist. they know we’re still a very big portion of the fandom and they know they need us. they are fully aware what we’ve been discussing for the past seven months cause they keep us constantly monitored. they know how desperately people are looking for clues, and they know exactly how much attention those clues can generate.

i’m not going to pretend i know what happens behind closed doors, but i’m also not going to pretend companies are angels incapable of using fandom emotions to their advantage.

and that’s what makes me so uncomfortable about all of this. because hope is a beautiful thing until someone realizes they can profit from it.

the possibility of heeseung coming back makes me incredibly happy. you have no idea how badly i want that to happen. but i refuse to let that happiness make me forget who we’re dealing with. a monster.

and another thing: they’re selling an album advertised as having six members. they cannot simply surprise buyers with a seventh member in the physical contents without creating serious issues about what was advertised. so please don’t take every hidden detail as confirmation of something that hasn’t been announced.

i’m not telling anyone to stop hoping. i myself will probably be one of the last people on earth to give up that hope. but there’s a difference between hoping for something and allowing yourself to be led around by every little detail a company puts in front of you.

maybe there’s genuinely something behind all of this. maybe there isn’t. maybe they’re deliberately keeping their options open. we don’t know. what i do know is that this uncertainty benefits their promotions far more than it benefits us.

so yes, keep hoping but always remember to keep questioning. keep believing in the possibility of seven. but please don’t let belift turn your hope into a marketing tool.

because until we hear something concrete, a gap is still a gap, not a promise, right?
