Recently, while monitoring and reporting malicious content, we have noticed abnormal traffic fluctuations among certain accounts on Douyin. During the hours from late night to early morning, newly created accounts often receive tens of thousands of likes within a very short period. This level of engagement is far beyond what would be expected from ordinary users. After our inquiry, we have reason to believe that this large-scale astroturfing activity is likely being carried out by professional teams engaging in targeted traffic diversion. Over the past week alone, nearly a hundred suspicious accounts have been actively posting manipulated and defamatory videos targeting Sunghoon.

At present, relying solely on our individual reports is no longer sufficient to effectively curb this issue. We urge everyone to report these accounts by following our guideline below. By taking action together, we can help combat malicious and harmful behaviour and create a safer, healthier online environment for Sunghoon and all his fans.
