@FarmBoyRoy69@BarstoolTexasAM To compare a deadly virus to your choice of occupation is incomparable. I’m not living in fear because I’m aware that I’m healthy and in my youth. However, I am still taking precautions for the health of others who may not have the same circumstances as myself.
@FarmBoyRoy69@BarstoolTexasAM Anyone with a smidgen of morality and empathy for others would care enough to mask up and social distance. People’s health is at risk. It’s not a matter of opinion, it’s the difference between life and death. It doesn’t take an Einstein to figure that out.
@Danielaa_Campos My guess is that the people organizing it were doing it with everyone’s best interests in mind. I, myself, will still be attending, whether it’s in our vehicles or not. Action towards change and betterment is greater than inaction.
@Danielaa_Campos With the current state our country finds itself in, with COVID that is, I would only commend their decision to parade through town in vehicles. In opposition, while standing six feet apart and voicing ourselves would be ideal, I think anything is better than nothing.
@Danielaa_Campos “A parade is a group of people marching in ceremony, celebration, or protest. Parade is also a verb, meaning to walk or march ostentatiously.” Please don’t mistake a positive step organized by good people for a racist leap.
