i feel like after listening to jungwons clip and talking to one of my friends from Korea i feel the need to say something..

he said: 그런 것 때문에 엔진들이 싸우는 게 보기가 좋지 않다. 솔직히 공연에도 방해가 된다.
“Because of things like that, seeing ENGENEs fight isn’t nice. Honestly, it also interferes with the performance.”

because 보기가 좋지 않다 is a way of saying
“It’s unpleasant to see.”
NOT
“I hate ot7.”

앞으로 그런 분쟁을 조장하는 분들은 팬이 아닌 걸로 생각하려고 한다.
“From now on, I’m going to think of people who encourage those fights as not being fans.”

조장하다
Means „provoke“/ „stir up“

He’s NOT saying
“Everyone who disagrees.”
He’s most likely specifically referring to people he believes are actively fueling conflict.

Given the timing after the Lima concert where the physical altercations happened and the wording he chose, it’s reasonable to interpret his criticism as being directed toward people who were escalating and provoking conflict. (Both sides!)

-People who say the ot7 fanchant are fake fans.
-Anyone who misses the previous ENHYPEN is a fake fan.

Those sentences simply never left his mouth.

he used the verb 조장하다, which means:
to provoke/stir up/encourage conflict/fights- so grammatically, the main thing of his criticism is people who are provoking fights, not people holding a particular feeling/opinion.

where the disagreement comes from is the sentence:
‘Enhypen is 7’이라는 말은 우리끼리 싸우라는 이야기다.
“ENHYPEN is 7’ is a statement that tells us to fight among ourselves.”

Some interpret this as:
“Therefore, anyone who says ENHYPEN is 7 is provoking conflict.”

Others interpret it as:
“He’s talking about people using that slogan in ways that create fights.”

That extra connection people made is an interpretation..

His main focus was on the fighting:
The repeated topic was conflict, not simple opinions.

hi, i wanted to talk about something.

i know jungwon's live has deeply upset all of us ot7 engenes. but here's the thing.

lives are heavily monitored by staff and are often scripted. we all know the kind of tactics belift has used before. every time we begin to feel hopeful, something happens that leaves everyone discouraged and questioning whether our efforts even matter.

the 8-day appreciation trend and the ot7 fanchants in brazil and peru were incredibly powerful moments. we've seen similar situations in the past where hope was quickly followed by something that divided or discouraged the fandom. that's why i can't help but wonder if this was another one of those moments. if that were the case, using the leader to deliver that message would naturally have the biggest impact. and honestly... isn't the timing a little strange? why bring this up after four months?

more importantly, we all saw the members' genuine reactions to the ot7 fanchants. they looked happy, excited, and emotional. that's something we witnessed ourselves.

most importantly, i need everyone to understand that attempting to erase a member's hard work over the past several years should never be taken lightly. the ot7 fanchants were for songs that heeseung actively contributed to. asking fans not to acknowledge his work is unfair, and no member deserves to have their artistic contributions erased like that.

the reason we've been fighting for the past four months isn't just because we want him back. it's because we want fairness, respect, and better treatment for all seven members. that's what this has always been about.

so please, don't lose hope now. we've made it through countless setbacks already, and every single time we've gotten back up. we've built a community that refuses to give up on all seven members, and that's something no statement can take away from us. if we let one difficult moment erase months of determination, then everything we've worked so hard for loses its meaning.

if you're feeling like giving up, or if everything that's happened has left you exhausted and demotivated, it's okay to take a step back. prioritize your peace, take all the time you need, and come back when you're ready. but please, don't let this be the reason you give up completely. we'll still be here, and this fight will still be worth fighting.

this too shall pass. and when it does, i hope we can look back knowing we never gave up on them 🎀🌷🧡

the way jungwon said that there are people who miss the past and he understand why they feel that way ☹️ jungwon wasn’t asking fans to erase the past, he wasn’t asking people to forget their memories. he was asking us to stop turning those memories into something that divides the fandom and burdens the members

this is out of my comfort zone to tweet but i don't think you guys get what jungwon is trying to say. it's not exactly about the six or seven but more so towards the dispute that has been going on because of it.

whether you are an ot7, ot6, or solos, creating and amplifying hate towards each other is never okay. you are not only hurting each other but is also hurting the members because you guys chose to focus more on who you think they are in your head instead of who they actually are with their talents and potensials.

i hope you guys know that with jungwon speaking up, he doesn't want anymore hate between us, including all the blaming and pointing fingers that i see are currently going. ignoring, muting, or blocking someone that are doing so is easier than writing a whole paragraph of argument that'll only worsen this situation. let's all just focus on loving enhypen instead of fighting each other.

📢 A Message to Every ENGENE

ENGENEs, please do not lose hope.

By now, we all know what happened during our dear leader Yang Jungwon's live today. I know many of us are emotional, but please try to understand this as well. It is difficult for many of us to believe these were entirely his own words, especially when he even mentioned that the company wanted this too.

If the company had spoken about this six-member lineup situation from the very beginning of Heeseung's removal, then none of this chaos would have reached this point. From day one, our protest has been about asking the company for answers, transparency, and an official confirmation.

But why now?

Why did they wait almost four months?

Why only after the members smiled hearing the OT7 fanchants at the concerts? Why after they looked so happy hearing fans chanting their eldest brother Heeseung's name?

Why now, HYBE?

And please remember what the tarot reader told us after the Brazil concert—that the company was enraged and would try to do something to make us stop protesting. Today, many of us feel they are trying to do exactly that, but through the members, and that is not right.

The company should be the one addressing the chaos they have caused, not the members. The members should never have to carry the burden of speaking for the company's actions. Every day, this company continues to sink to a new low.

So I beg every ENGENE, please do not stop protesting. Please do not stop the OT7 fanchants at ENHYPEN's upcoming concerts. I am begging you all—for the sake of Heeseung, for the sake of ENHYPEN, please keep raising your voices. If we stop now, then the members may face even greater difficulties and mistreatment in the future because the company will know they can silence us.

Dear ENGENEs,

We would like to release a follow-up statement with a little deep-dive on the reasoning behind our decision-making.

We hear you, and we believe that boycott is still necessary not solely because of Heeseung’s departure, but also because of ENHYPEN’s continuous mistreatment that the company, BE:LIFT Lab, has failed to protect ENHYPEN and their other artists from.

That being said, we as a page do not feel like it is our place to maintain such protest due to the branding and imagery of our account.

ENtags has always been revolving around seven members and has been built on that foundation. Using ENHYPEN’s name, brand and imagery that was created with their old lineup would mean that the members are being dragged into this unwillingly. Removing the seventh member at the time purposefully would carry an even more insulting meaning.

The boycott is not being stopped because of what has been said by Jungwon during the Weverse live and we encourage you to maintain the financial boycott for their health and safety concerns. However, we do not feel like it is a place for us or any other base that uses ENHYPEN’s branding and revolves around seven to continue with spreading tags knowing that this would directly involve the members.
