At this point irrespective of exams getting cancelled, I think what’s absolutely clear is how #Christuniveristy has shown itself to have the WORST psychological environment for its students. I hope all future applicants will take this into consideration before applying to Christ.
These are tough times for everyone, especially students. This is an appeal to @ChristBangalore to take into consideration that exams aren't the only way to evaluate. Your students' mental health should be your priority!
#ChristUniversity#CancelExams
@JChristites Only if it's actually reaching the right people and actually making a difference. Or else false hope not needed 😔 #christuniversity_cancel_exam
The Christ University is conducting online exams even after the Govt has ordered to promote intermediate semester students and has collected Rs.500 from them as exam fee. @BSYBJP@drashwathcn must intervene ASAP and make sure that institutions follow Govt orders.
#NoExamInCovid
@nidhiindiatv #christuniversity you're using our forced consent to online exams in your favour by saying 98% of us support it? Why don't you take a poll now to see how many are against it? :) #christuniversity_cancel_exams
Internet connectivity is still around 36% only. Access to online classes or examinations does not exist for a vast majority, particularly the marginalised and those living in remote digitally unconnected parts in our country. UGC’s direction is highly discriminatory: unacceptable
Students are undergoing severe mental trauma due to the uncertainties and insensitivity of the authorities. This prescription of online examinations is going to further agonise them. Degrees must be awarded on the basis of the already assessed earlier semester’s performance.
@nidhiindiatv The irony is how the UGC notification itself states that in the time of covid crisis the universities need to ensure and adhere to State/Central govt orders
@nidhiindiatv @indiatvnews The only reason we did so was so that we could at least write it on our computers as opposed to the close to non-operational ones at the University. They practically forced our hand considering the Covid Crisis.
@nidhiindiatv @drashwathcn@DrRPNishank Instead of contacting #christuniversity please contact @ugc_india and inform the issue , we students never agreed of our own for the exam it was by complete force and we didn't have any choice but to pay d fees for exam, @nidhiindiatv @drashwathcn @DRpnishank
Students oppose Christ (deemed-to-be-university) decision to conduct online exams beginning next week. They're flagging several issues. Read on.
Please take note @drashwathcn@DrRPNishank
