Sadly, on Wednesday this week the amendment we were calling for was voted down by just 2 votes🚫
But we won't give up the fight, & will continue to call for the urgent reform needed 💪
Because planning policy really should work to boost green space & improve people's health ✅
Lovely to chat to @bbchw this morning about parks, paddling pools and how @FieldsInTrust works to make sure we all have access to green spaces to cool down in💚. Miraculously the only 4 year old heard on the subject was not the one in my house who wanted to have a say!
£350m decline in funding for playgrounds. A depressing read & a reminder from @playengland that Westminster is lagging behind Wales and Scotland in creating a proper strategy for children & play. England’s playgrounds crumble as council budgets fall https://t.co/JbGcfh6pCk
Inspiring to be in Parliament for the launch of this fantastic campaign and looking forward to supporting @WCL_News & the other amazing organisations involved in pushing for a better deal for nature #Nature2030
Political leaders must back action to save UK nature by 2030:
👩🌾Double nature-friendly farming budget

Back in the summer of 2019, when he was the Parks Minister, @RishiSunak MP wrote a guest blog post for us. A lot has changed since then – but the new PMs fundamental point “Parks do people a world of good” remains as important now as it was then. https://t.co/vwT8bBauzH
