This is the crowd @DeadByDaylight is catering to and welcoming into the community.
Yes, this is the exact fanbase of this streamer. Not just a few “bad apples”.
It’s bewildering how this exact same conversation already happened with Fortnite a couple months ago and @DbDPulse still felt proud to back it.
@Staggiezz@KUURDAA I’ve had to lock every single one of my posts lmao, I’m getting tons of death threats in my DM’s and it’s just like wow, genuinely so disappointed.
Literally feels like a slap in the face not only for streamers, but for everyone in the community. Genuinely all the comments are being filled with toxic hate comments and slurs. Is this what you craved so desperately @DeadbyDaylight ??
No coming back from this i fear.
even if that peanut guy isn’t racist and homophobic his fans sure as hell are, are these really the people we want in the community @Behaviour@DeadbyDaylight ? people who sling slurs anytime someone disagrees with them ?
Check out our new Twitter account (I still refuse to say X!) @DbDPulse this is your direct line to the Community Team for anything game related, including gameplay questions and answers. @DeadbyDaylight
@J105jz@DavidBulllsu0@Hens333@EveElleQueen@theValkiriya@n2kylo@DeadbyDaylight Bby at this point the closet is glass. Why are you using the slurs, huh?? It IS a problem. IDGAF about the free cosmetics or whatever the fuck. Its his attitude that needs checking and so does yours. But, I wont waste my time on YOU anymore.
this is why im continuing to step further away from Dead by Daylight.
Problematic licenses and then rewarding homophobic and racist people with products? This is embarassing, especially since there are still AMAZING creators who you haven't been approved into your program yet who have devoted their careers to DbD.
Very disappointing reply from @DeadbyDaylight amidst the current drama.
Opening up the game/community to an audience of homophobes/transphobes/racists is extremely poor and to say "WE CAN TAKE THE HEAT" in said streamer's chat just shows they're money and numbers over inclusion
