We have always been dependent on one another, but now more than we have been in a long time. Your individual behaviors directly affect the health of all those around you. Behave as if you may be carrying the virus even if you don’t know for sure. Be kind.
A piece of my heart & soul was put into words for the world to read on @thrive Global. I hope it can help someone grieving to be open to powerful #momentsofjoy, and to realize, if they are experiencing moments like these, they're not alone! ❤ #grief#griefandjoy@TheOpEdProject
Being a #Tucson#PublicVoices fellow with @TheOpEdProject is amazing for so many reasons, one major reason being that it has connected me with some wonderful, brilliant, supportive, & badass women who I'm proud to call colleagues, and friends. What an incredible gift - thank you!
Thank you, @KamalaHarris for sharing my story, our children deserve better. Drills can be very traumatic and are not trauma-informed. We need to cultivate safety in schools from the inside out through SEL programs and discontinue the systematic use of traumatic lockdown drills.

This isn’t normal. We must stand up to the NRA.

Such a great time facilitating a “speed OpEd” workshop teaching Social Justice Symposium LUCHA breakout attendees techniques and strategies I learned through @theopedproject fellowship, e.g. writing an OpEd in 10 minutes, and how to “hijack the news”! #publicvoices#LUCHA#Tucson
We are halfway through #AZGivesDay and are so grateful for the outpouring of support! Integrative Touch for Kids serves 3,500 people in both the hospital and community settings every year and your donations will... https://t.co/5Fmt9C3fI1
I was recently interviewed by @BBCWorld on active shooter drills in the US-these vary widely and most are not trauma-informed. We need to cultivate safety in schools by teaching children social and emotional learning, and training schools to spot risk-behavior signs to intervene!
