I’m getting a lot of homophobes leaving comments on my PRIDE posts (a lot of blocking)…looks like I need an algorithm reset! If you identify as LGBTQ+, an ally, kind, woke, and/or a critical thinker, please interact with this post or say hey! 🏳️🌈
🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Every Day! 🏳️🌈
Today, we pause to remember the victims of the January 8th shooting. As one of the public safety agencies that responded, we honor their lives, support the survivors, and reflect on the enduring strength of a united community. #Remember#Honor
Due to the 8.7 earthquake in Kamchatka, Russia, the National Tsunami Warning Center has issued a Tsunami Advisory that includes San Francisco. A Tsunami Advisory means strong, dangerous currents are expected to impact San Francisco beaches, harbor and marina docks, and finger piers in shoreline areas. Dangerous currents are expected to begin at 12:40am tonight (7/30) and may last for many hours.
San Francisco's public safety agencies are working together to evaluate whether the evacuation of shoreline areas is necessary, and will send out additional alerts as soon as possible. For guidance and the tsunami hazard map, visit https://t.co/CWtYpONLht.
Here are tsunami safety tips for those in coastal areas. Boaters may need to leave harbor and go to a depth of at least 50 to 1000 fathoms. People on land should avoid harbors & marinas, get off and away from the beach. #CAWX
