This time last season, a lot of “experts” on this app were lecturing us about formations and systems.
Now the team is WORSE playing with a back four than it was with a back three last season. Just goes to show how the MAJORITY of United fans on this app don’t know SHIT about football.
We got abused for saying the problem was NEVER about formations or systems.
It’s the same cycle every year. The only thing that changes is what the manager gets blamed for, while INEOS continue to hide behind their PR.
It’s a good pack with 2 solid midfielders which would be Toure and Seedorf.
Toure being an Anchor Man that can pass and dribble is actually really good and would suit a more Possession based game and it’s tempting to go for him.
The problem with Toure is that he doesn’t come with Power Tackle or Shadow Hunt which ideally would be the skills I’d want on my Anchor Man but with those ball playing abilities and a really good player model he is definitely tempting.
Since his passing isn’t top tier with this build I’d probably pair him with an Orchestrator to control the play a bit better but everyone plays with the same defensive minded destroyer alongside an Anchor Man anyways and spams through balls to the final third so who cares lol.
Seedorf looks like a beast as always but it’s disappointing that he comes with Attack Trigger which is a semi trust me bro skill.
As usual with a box to box he’ll be overall balanced in his stats but with his finishing it’ll be on the slight lower end so it’ll be a bit awkward to shoot with him if he’s free near the edge of the 18 yard box.
This guy is a two footed machine and he can be built like a bully so that’s nice too. If he had something like Power Tackle or Long Reach Tackle then I probably would go for him 100% especially with his crazy player model.
Also the Magnetic feet on him as well will make him so hard to take the ball off of him as well when under he’s actually insane.
Xabi Alonso unfortunately is underwhelming. He’s one of those cards that will never good no matter what and his skills that he comes with is just a trash combination that can’t really change the game unless you love to spam that Capello link up which nobody does anyways.
There’s also plenty other options that can fill in that Orchestrator role like Anderson, De Jong, Guti, Pedri, Vitinha, and many more that are way better than Alonso and offers more on the pitch.
Seedorf is first 🥇
Toure is second 🥈
Alonso is third 🥉
Personally for me I am only going to go for Power Tackle players because that skill is just way too overpowered.
United create so few good chances that players get absolutely slaughtered for missing ONE decent chance in 45 minutes.
Do people genuinely think Haaland doesn't miss sitters? Of course he does. The difference is that he gets 5-6 good chances a game, so nobody remembers the ones he misses when he scores.
What do people expect Mbeumo to do? Score every single chance he gets? Is he a robot?
The guy has 4 league goals in 7 games while the entire team is struggling massively. THIS IS WHAT GREAT PLAYERS DO.
A lot of United fans genuinely don't know SHIT about football and it's sad.
🚨 Michael Carrick: “It felt like a fresh start today, where we're at, accepting it and doing something about it”.
“There was a real purpose to the group the last couple of days and they took it out onto the pitch”.
🚨 Michael Carrick: “Lisandro Martínez has realised his mistake”.
“That’s good enough for all of us. From our point of view, the acknowledgement is enough”.
