In 2022, I saw a video of an upcoming on TikTok and the song really touched me so I was looking forward to get in touch, so I started posting the song on my WhatsApp status.

After about a week or two, the person texted me on Twitter I should help promoting him and asked about the rules.

As I replied him, the first thing he said was like “you too real, I’ve been texting almost every top guy here and they not minding me”. I laughed and moved to the main conversation.

So I told him I really like his vibes and I’ve been searching for him so I won’t take him anything for now but I’ll make sure I do my best for him.

Since then, I started preaching about him, everyone in my hood got to know him through me and in my area I’m one person they rate so anytime I recommend someone people will love it.

And here, almost everyone got to know the person because of me that time. I am some boy trying to survive but anytime he drop a song, I’ll do my own personal trend without their knowledge with my money. Just for people to hear him out.

It started making sense and I thought yes, this time I can get to enjoy with them even if it’s small.

The first day I met him and his team, I did not even get my transportation fee for in and out, and kept it cool because I thought we’re just beginning.

He got a global banger, and I was too happy for him, I went to play ball somewhere in my area and I heard people jamming to his song and I was the most happiest person on earth.

That same day, when I returned home, we got some biggest news in his career and he called me thanking me and was too happy.

For celebration, he asked for my momo number, do you know how much he sent me? 100 Ghana cedis!

I was like “ow maybe he’s not having money now” so I moved on to keep supporting.

I went to meet them again, my own transportation and I still didn’t get anything yet I kept supporting. I was going though some hard time and I asked them to send something, they told me they’re down. So they gave me another 100ghc.

In total, I got 300ghc from them. 3 million old cedis I mean. Meanwhile what I spent on him was way more than that.

That never pain me, i still kept defending him, fighting and preaching about him until one day, they decided to do a trend for their new music, instead of them to give that job to me, they contacted different person and gave him the deal, at first, I wasn’t mad until it happened again.

So I realised I’ve been used and there was nothing like love. I decided to unfollow him and move one.

Now I’ve learnt, if you’re an upcoming musician and I even have just one follower and you need even my like on your post, I’ll charge you and you’ll pay if you want me to work for you.

And not only one musician has done me bad here after my hard work
