It could maybe be that the company didnt care about it(thought it would be fun) or maybe even just wanted any kind of attention for the group or a third reason

@Beaureg54610137 I think this is an issue for kpop idols especially, because of the idea that they have to be perfect in all possible ways and many see them as a representation of their country. If they make the slightest misstep they have to make an official apology (3)

@sarah_1011010 i'm not sure of that, but it could also be a way to broaden the education on traditional music, if it became a subject in school! just like we in denmark play instruments in elementary school in music classes, but just with traditional instruments
