And never use iMessage, SMS or RCS again. You’ll never know if the person you’re texting has been stupid and irresponsible enough to add this silent monitoring bot to your conversation.

Governments no longer need to pressure Apple for a backdoor. OpenAI just built one for them.

@saweezo Could've help up, until Rockstar filed subpoenas to find Cyberleek: to get a judge to sign, Rockstar had to submit a sworn declaration the leak was unauthorized. The consequences of penalty of perjury + fraud onto the court are too severe to risk for a publicly traded company.

@ZanVT_INC Correction: neither Microsoft nor Discord handed over any data yet. They got the subpoena, yes. Microsoft is in talks with Take Two, yes. But users data has not yet been handed, they have until September 4th to do that, negotiate a smaller scope of data, or refuse in court.

GoldenEye 007 for Nintendo 64 has now been 100% decompiled after around five years of work.

The project is a major achievement because the game’s original code can now be studied and modified much more easily. This could lead to more advanced mods and ports to other platforms.

A PC version based on the decompiled code is already being tested.
