For some reason,
Our politicians get this wrong....

You studied at the University of Nairobi, you got your grit from Africa,
Then send your kids abroad.

For some reason, even the kids cannot amount to much.
The innovative minds that have built @heko_pay or Mpesa are in Africa
They're not in Europe, even the most innovative models are here!

I sometimes think that Central Banks in Africa should bar anyone with a career in IMF or World Bank from running our central banks.

They tend to have their allegiance to their former bosses.

Same case with politicians from outside.

Africa's best talents are in Africa.

We know our challenges, we can innovate.

If you have to send your kids abroad to study some degrees and you know the ones I'm talking about....not the kind that changes the scope of industrialization.

Take your kids to China or Singapore at least and let them go and study engineering.

Chairman Mao initially opposed Chinese talents leaving China until he looked at getting them to understand innovations from outside to bring them to China.

China won in this game. Is there a more industrializing country than China ?

Kenya, Ghana and many Africans nation should perhaps borrow this policy.

Students interested in engineering should get sponsorship on engineering nations.

Perhaps then we can change African landscape.
