I'm a Jew in NYC and I made friends with a Palestinian in Gaza this week. Using @Snap Maps I was able to build a personal connection with a complete stranger and learn from their first-hand experience of whats happening on the ground in real-time. Heres the story + some takeaways

[Amjad Taha أمجد طه @amjadt25]

Breaking News: Just now, #Hamas snipers have reportedly killed dozens of children and women on the streets, targeting those attempting to travel from north to south #Gaza and those displaying white flags as a sign of peace. Similar acts have previously been attributed to Palestinian and #Hezbollah terrorists in Syria. They do not want civilians to leave; they want to use them as human shields and kill anyone who attempts to leave. Hamas terrorists in Gaza will, as usual, blame #Israel because it is easy and there is media that accepts this propaganda.

Today's lighting study:
A smooth transition from INT to EXT exposure with no eye adaptation. 100% predictable, controllable and works the other way around too. Used a white plane card with a simple material. Tutorial soon!

Implemented dynamic animations through the widgets. Also some modification on the data structures.

Next thing is to display the information inside the player's journal!

A huge victory today but the war against #UI is not over yet! #ue4 widget system is awesome once you get to know it though.

So far I got a fully data driven scanner display system for showing object information. Also implemented some animations.

#2 Iteration of the drone's 3D Radar. You can see it on the top right. I got some feedback for the first version and hope I made it more readable now. What do you think?
